The Providence Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce that NETworks presentation of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be kicking off its National Tour at PPAC, and will now be playing on the new dates of February 9 - 14, 2010! Based on the Academy Award®-winning animated feature film, this eye-popping spectacle has won the hearts of over 35 million people worldwide. This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers including "Be Our Guest" and the beloved title song. Experience the romance and enchantment of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!

Tickets for NETworks presentation of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will go on sale on Monday, July 27 at 10A at the PPAC Box Office window, by phone at (401) 421-ARTS and online at www.ppacri.org. Please note that Summer Box Office Hours are in effect, and those hours are Monday - Thursday from 10A- 3P, and 10A - curtain on show days. Regular Box Office hours resume September 8, 2009.

Ticket prices for NETworks presentation of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST are: $63, $58, $56, $51, $46, $41, and $36; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration fee. Performance times for NETworks presentation of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST are as follows: Tuesday, February 9 at 7P; Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30P; Thursday, February 11 at 7:30P; Friday, February 12 at 8P; Saturday, February 13 at 2P and 8P; and Sunday, February 14 at 1P and 6:30P. DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
