2013 PPAC Annual Gala with Sarah Brightman in Concert Has Been Cancelled

Due to an unforeseen scheduling change, Sarah Brightman's performance at the 2013 Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) Gala on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:30P has been cancelled. Ms. Brightman's concerts in Boston, MA at the Boston Opera House and in Hartford, CT at the Bushnell have been rescheduled; Ms. Brightman will perform in Boston on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 and in Hartford on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Tickets that have been purchased for Ms. Brightman's performance at PPAC are not transferrable.

Refunds will be processed at point of purchase; please contact the PPAC Box Office at (401) 421-ARTS (2787) for assistance. Regular Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P; and through curtain time(s) on performance days.

Ms. Brightman's highly anticipated 11th studio album "Dreamchaser" will now be released in North America in April 2013. Ms. Brightman recently released the "Dreamchaser" track "Angel" and the first single "One Day Like This" off of the album. Both recordings are currently available digitally at various online retailers including iTunes and Amazon.

Over the past two and a half decades, Ms. Brightman has distinguished herself as the world's biggest selling soprano of all time with global sales reaching over 30 million units. She has received more than 180 gold and platinum awards in over 40 countries. Ms. Brightman pioneered the classical crossover music movement and is the only artist to have simultaneously topped the Billboard dance and classical music charts.

Ms. Brightman recently announced that she will be taking a trip to the International Space Station where she hopes to become the first performing artist to sing in space.
