Three Tall Women at New Mexico Actors Lab

ARWYN VERNOLD (C | she/her) is thrilled to be making her NM Actors Lab debut in Three Tall Women. A native Santa Fean, she spent most of her early years in France and Mexico before returning home. After graduating from the New Mexico School for the Arts (NMSA), she moved to London, UK to train in theatre/musical theatre. Her London credits include: Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Rita Racine (Steel Pier), and Lady Euphrosine (Beach). Her NM credits include: Dusty (POTUS), Isobel/Wendy (The Mystery of Edwin Drood), Portia u/s (Something Rotten), Alyssa Greene (The Prom), Laurey u/s (Oklahoma!), Morticia (The Addams Family), Fruma-Sarah (Fiddler on the Roof), Lisa (Mamma Mia), and Genie (Aladdin). Deepest love to her mom for always being her rock, and endless gratitude to the NM theatre community for their unwavering support.

KATE CLARKE (B | she/her) is an actor, singer and movement theatre artist with over 30 years’ experience working in theaters around the country. Favorite roles include Agnes in A Delicate Balance, Red Peter in Kafka’s Monkey, The Stage Manager in Our Town, Mouth in Not I, Jenny in Company, Sandy in Grease, Viola in Twelfth Night, and Lili in Why We Have a Body. Kate has appeared on Northern Exposure (CBS), and Third Watch (NBC), as well as in many independent films and commercials. Currently she is performing her solo adaptation of Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, entitled Stand in the Shade of Me, in venues around the southwest. Kate is an Associate Professor and Head of Theater at the University of NM, where she specializes in acting, voice, and movement techniques. She is the creator of Vibrant Channel Breathwork®, a somatic actor training technique, as well as being a certified associate teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and a certified instructor of Open-Source Forms. Kate’s teaching pedagogy also includes Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Lucid Body, Viewpoints, Suzuki, Laban, Alexander Technique, Stella Adler and Meisner studio work, Singing, and Low Flying Trapeze.

ANGELA BOND (A | she/her) has spent over 40 years in professional theater as an actress, teacher and director. Since moving to Santa Fe in 2023, she was Ellie Rubenstein in the world premiere of In My Father’s House at Teatro Paraguas, played Aunt March in Little Women for Tri-M Productions and was Marie Curie in the Lab’s The Half Life of Marie Curie. Florida credits: her original one-woman show Tennessee Psalms (Sarasolo Productions, Sarasota); Selma Sassman in Strait of Gibraltar (world premiere, American Stage Theatre, St. Petersburg); Emma in Annapurna (Jobsite Theatre, Tampa); Eva in Evita (Players Theatre, Sarasota), Lilli/Kate in Kiss Me Kate (Golden Apple Dinner Theatre, Sarasota); Tale of the Allergist’s Wife (Stageworks Theatre, Tampa), etc.; Broadway: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes; Europe: Ken Hill’s Phantom of the Opera; Film/ TV: Free Ride with Anna Paquin, Revolution, Nashville and Sleepy Hollow. She will be directing a staged reading of Carolyn Bird’s acclaimed take on Euripides’ The Trojan Women for Santa Fe Classic Theater this coming March. She was a proud member of AEA 1987- 2023 and is a current member of SAG-AFTRA.

CHANCE RILEY (The Boy | he/him) was born in Santa Fe and was raised between Santa Fe and Tennessee. Chance earned a degree from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, developing a disciplined and analytical perspective that would later complement his artistic pursuits. Returning to Santa Fe about a decade ago, Chance began immersing himself in film and performance art, discovering a deep passion for storytelling. His journey has provided opportunities to work alongside accomplished industry names, including Jensen Ackles, Will Patton, and Josh Brolin. Now, he is making his stage debut. Though this will be his first role performing on stage, Chance brings with him a unique combination of intellectual curiosity, life experience, and a profound respect for the performing arts.
