The Victory Theatre Center is hosting two staged reading performances of Daniel Bruckner’s brand-new comedy The Daring Act of Exposing One's Self, directed by Miranda Stewart.

Six friends, one shocking photo, and a night of flirtation, heated debate, and romantic rivalry that explodes into a frenzied whodunnit.

THE DARING ACT OF EXPOSING ONE'S SELF is a comedy about five friends getting together to help lift the spirits of Sylvia, a newly-separated thirtysomething trying to move on from a cheating husband. Flirtation and sexual ideology dominate the night as guests quarrel over human instinct, love, and who among them is trying to earn Sylvia’s affection. And just as the party concludes, Sylvia is startled to discover that someone secretly snuck off with her phone and took a dick pic. What follows next is a frenzied, tension-escalating whodunnit not seen since the heyday of the British Murder Mystery.
