It’s movie night at the John Candy Box Theatre, as Big Rat Theatre presents a completely improvised show, based entirely on suggestions from you, the audience! Every show is different, as we take your genre, setting, and made up movie title, and bring it to life on stage, with no script and no rehearsal! It all comes together with improvised lighting and a live pianist making our soundtrack on the spot! There might even be some songs!
Featuring Toronto’s best improvisers: Anthony Sardinha, Bridget Cann, Christian Teatro, David Hadley, Katie Chin, Nikki Ashworth, Nitin Rhymes With Kitten, and Tyler Mann, with Trevor Nelson on piano!

Tyler is a comic artist and graphic designer from Richmond Hill, having done work for big names like TomSka, Adam Warrock, and the Gravity Falls Gossiper Podcast. He self publishes his adult comics, and even turned one of them into a stage show!

Nikki Ashworth is a stand-up comedian and improvisor who balances dark jokes with light-hearted enthusiasm. She was recently featured in the Toronto 2026 Just for Laughs Showcase.
Bridget Cann

Bridget is a comedian and actor that hails from Calgary Alberta and has performed all over North America.
Anthony Sardinha

Anthony Sardinha is a Sketch Writer, Performer, Improviser, and Voice Over Artist based in Toronto.
Nitin Rhymes With Kitten
Performer
Nitin is an actor, singer-songwriter, writer, improviser, and puppeteer. Alongside Big Rat Theatre, Nitin performs with Comedy Bar's musical improv house team, Rats! Another Musical?, and is currently working on two original projects: his debut EP, Bittersweet Boy, and a comedic yet heart-wrenching, puppet-filled musical dramedy about moving on after a breakup.
