Brilliantly innovative, heartbreaking, and wickedly funny, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is the landmark theatrical event that, according to Entertainment Weekly, is “groundbreaking and undoubtedly ahead of its time”. This genre (and gender) bending, fourth-wall-smashing electric musical experience tells the story of one of the most unique characters to ever hit the stage. Winner of four 2014 Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH played to record-breaking sell-out crowds on Broadway with what Time Magazine proclaims is “the most exciting rock score written for the theatre since, oh, ever!” The Pollard’s production features two separate casts with Matthew Alvin Brown and Renee Anderson headlining the show from Oct. 13 – 21st and Jared Blount and Beth Lipton taking over the roles from Midnight October 21st – 28th.

The 39 Steps is a farcical comedic thriller. The play within a play concept works well here in this parody of the 1935 Hitchcock spy murder mystery. The cast of four play multiple roles in this post-pandemic reopener. The Pollard Theatre in historic Guthrie, OK is back and better than ever.
Joshua T. McGowen is a favorite performer in the OKC theatre and Drag scenes. In his exclusive interview with Broadway World, he talks about some of his favorite roles, what he's been doing during the pandemic, and what his dream role is. His Q&A Artist spotlight is here!
