Arts and History & Surrealism Now show 2017

A journey to discover two worlds, the new and the old. The Roman empire in Conimbriga city and the arts of Surrealism Now on display at PO.RO.S Museum in September 17, 2017.

The old world - Two tousand years ago the Roman empire conquers the west of the Spanish Peninsula and it was in the time of Augustus that Conímbriga would be reformed, the Roman emperor sent architects to remodel it and adapt it to Roman urbanism.

The new world - International Surrealism Now began in Coimbra in 2010, where a first major exhibition took place, organized by the Bissaya Barreto Foundation and conceived by Santiago Ribeiro. Since then, the event has been held at Conimbriga Museum, Paris and once again supported by Bissaya Barreto Foundation and Santiago Ribeiro, Madrid, then to Dallas, Los Angeles and Mississippi, to Berlin and much more...

A travel that you can´t forget seeing and thinking about Roman empire and the art of 107th artists from 48th countries.

The show will take place at PO.RO.S Museum in the village of Condeixa-a-Nova, in Portugal in September 17, 2017.
