As a new year of classroom learning commences following several years of disruptions, many local schools are looking forward to returning to live entertainment to enrich their student's learning.

As the Spanish Flu pandemic gripped the world 102 years ago, Western Australian children's author and cartoonist May Gibbs brought joy to Australia with her tales of two Gumnut babies. Now, with COVID-19 dominating the news, West Australian Ballet prepare to premiere a new adaption Gibbs' iconic story, The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.

FAINT-hearted beware! The musical horror-drama Jekyll & Hyde is coming to the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre.

 Australian playwright and composer Luke Byrneis excited to announce his original new musical Between the Sea and Sky will make its Off-Broadway debut later this summer as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's (NYMF) Next Link Project. Featuring an original book, music & lyrics by Mr. Byrne, Between the Sea and Skywill play a 5-performance run at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row beginning July 31, 2018.

Vivid Sydney is the world's largest festival of light, music and ideas. It takes place annually, and features immersive light installations with performances from local and international artists as well as an ideas exchange forum featuring public talks and debates from leading creative thinkers.

Over the next 23 days and nights, Australia's largest event will transform the city into a colourful showcase of illumination, sensational sounds and creative thinking from 25 May to 16 June 2018.

The team behind The 13, 26 and 52-Storey Treehouse  stage adaptations is back with the newest, biggest, brightest blockbuster in the series, The 78-Storey Treehouse, on stage at Arts Centre Melbourne from 4 - 22 April 2018. Andy and Terry's treehouse just keeps on growing. With yet another 13 levels, it's now got a Scribbletorium, a high-security potato chip storage facility (guarded by one very angry duck!) and even an open-air movie theatre.
