The View expands into weekends with a new streaming series The Weekend View, premiering on the award-winning, 24/7 streaming platform ABC News Live on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 7:30 a.m. EST.

ABC News has revealed special coverage of “Kamala Harris and Donald Trump – ABC News Presidential Debate” that will air live on ABC, stream live on 24/7 streaming channel ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu and will be simulcast on additional broadcast and streaming news networks on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 9:00 p.m. EDT.

ABC News has announced that a 2024 election presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The primetime debate will air on ABC, the 24/7 streaming network ABC News Live and Hulu. ABC News will make the debate available to simulcast on additional broadcast and streaming news networks in America.

Contributors Dan Abrams, Donna Brazile, John Katko, Reince Priebus, and Kate Shaw will provide analysis across platforms. ABC News will have on-the-ground reporting from California, Alabama, Virginia, Texas and Colorado to deliver viewers up-to-the-minute reporting of all election results and campaign updates.

“Exodus: Global Migration” begins with ABC News correspondent Matt Rivers reporting from Bogota, Columbia, a city that is perhaps ground zero for the largest migration on earth. In recent months, more than six million Venezuelans have fled their now-impoverished country, seeking a better life.

The series kicks off on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” with a new ABC News/Ipsos poll on the mood of the nation, issues voters care about most, and how satisfied they are with their choices of presidential candidates. The series will continue with coverage led by ABC News’ political team through Wednesday.

ABC News’ Kayna Whitworth will anchor from 5:00-7:00 p.m. EDT, joining the powerhouse team of Linsey Davis in the evenings, Kyra Phillips in the afternoons, and Diane Macedo in the mornings. ABC News Live provides live coverage of breaking news, up-to-the-minute reports, interviews and in-depth special programming.

ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, will provide live coverage with reporting from Travers. NewsOne provides news content and services for more than 200 ABC affiliates and international news partners.

ABC News Live, America's No. 1 streaming news channel, is kicking off a bold strategy for new, original programming in 2020. By year's end, ABC News Live will air 18 hours of live and original content daily across all dayparts. Casting executive John Villacorta has been named senior vice president of Talent and Casting, ABC Entertainment, announced Ayo Davis, executive vice president, Talent and Casting, ABC Entertainment and Disney+, to whom he will report. In this role, Villacorta will manage the casting process for ABC and provide casting strategy and services to the Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment, working closely with the Disney+ team across all scripted and unscripted content.

ABC has given a full-season order to Wednesday night comedy “Schooled,” Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment, announced today. The additional order brings the season total to 22 episodes for “Schooled,” the “The Goldbergs” spinoff, in its sophomore season on the network. The series is from Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios.

ABC and ESPN will combine to televise 22 games during the 2020 XFL season, beginning with the league's much-anticipated kickoff game on SATURDAY, FEB. 8 (2:00-5:00 p.m. EST), and concluding with the inaugural XFL Championship on April 26. All ABC and ESPN games will be streamed live on the ESPN App.
