The "Delights & Desires" continue with DON'T CRY FOR ME, MARGARET MITCHELL by Virginia Cate and Duke Ernsberger. In 1939, already 3 weeks into shooting, producer David O. Selznick stops production on "Gone With The Wind" because he hates its script. Legendary screenwriter Ben Hecht is brought in to rewrite it, but he’s never read the book—so Selznick, Hecht, and director Victor Fleming camp out in his office in a desperate attempt to complete the task within a week—cue the crazy antics! This is a hilarious (and partly true) story of how the beloved and iconic movie came to be. Frankly my dear, only in Hollywood could something destined to turn out so wrong, turn out so right!
