Experience Neil Diamond's Music Like Never Before!

April is just around the corner and spring is in the air meaning the 2017 Season at Flat Rock Playhouse is ramping up to full speed. What better way to celebrate the spring and before long, spring into summer, than with a weekend of that timeless, ageless Sweet Caroline sound and Neil Diamond's Music like NEVER before! The Cherry Cherry Band, featuring a 9 piece band led by 30-year performance veteran and famed Neil Diamond tribute artist Steve Kelly, will run from April 6th - 9th at the Flat Rock Playhouse Main Stage in the Village of Flat Rock.

This exclusive one-weekend event will be a joy for all ages with Diamond songs that evoke memories for listeners from all walks of life. Steve Kelly explains, "we are fortunate in that we can become the kids that we are at 5 years old and bring back the music that we enjoy. We don't impersonate Neil Diamond and his band, we just pay tribute with great respect, the music that he has given the world."

With experience playing for audiences from 200 to 15,000, the band has performed across the country in venues including indoor theatres, outdoor festival concerts, cruise ships, and more. Giving life to some of the greatest music of this hugely successful American singer-songwriter (including many of those eleven famed No. 1 hit singles), The Cherry Cherry Band will surely have every Flat Rock fan singin' "I'm a Believer" by the end of the weekend! Featuring hits from "Red Red Wine" to "Desiree", "Cracklin' Rosie" to "I Am I Said" and "Brother Love" to "Coming to America", this tribute show has all the hits, horns and hoopla (according to the Seattle Times) and invites kids and adults to share in the fun.

Kelly says, "No one can 'be' Neil Diamond, and we wouldn't want to fill such shoes, but we can, in our own way, have fun and enjoy all of it for a seamless show."
