Burning Coal Theatre Company's Annual KidsWrite Festival Set for Tonight & Tomorrow

Burning Coal Theatre Company's annual KidsWrite Festival is tonight and tomorrow. The performances will include plays from students at Raleigh Charter School, Enloe High School and Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy. Performances of KidsWrite 2013 will take place on Friday, May 24th at 7:30 pm and Saturday, May 25th at 2 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10. No reservations necessary. KidsWrite 2013 will include:

- Wide Eyed and Barely Six Years Old by Arya Sundaram of Raleigh Charter School

- Effects by Courtney Pisano of Enloe High School

- 60 Percent by Louis Dohanich of Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy

KidsWrite is an annual event at Burning Coal. Each year we solicit plays from students grades 6 - 12 in Wake and surrounding counties. We read all submissions and select a few to produce with an adult cast, director, stage manager and design team.
