Burning Coal Debuts 4 Plays By Local Playwrights At Meymandi Theatre 6/5-7
Burning Coal is excited to premier four plays by local students in a professional production this June. The plays, Mixed Emotions by Andy Sherman (Broughton High School), The Constant Watch by Katharine McClintock (Ravenscroft), The New York Visit by Courtney Pisano and Memories of Daisy by Miranda Curtis (both of Ligon Middle School School) were selected from submissions from across Wake and surrounding counties, and will be performed together by members of Burning Coal Theatre Company.
The performance will take place at the Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School (224 Polk St., Raleigh) on June 5th & 6th at 7:30pm and June 7th at 2:00pm. Tickets for the event are $10 and may be obtained by calling 919.834.4001 or visiting www.burningcoal.org.
