Ponec Presents ANIMAL CARNIVAL

Ponec - the dance venue will present a production of Animal Carnival. Performances are running now through December 20.

An interactive dance performance for children and young people based on the musical motif of the same name by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. The production combines movement and dance with video projections, original music and sound, while also playing with light and shade, silence and stillness. The artists were inspired by the diversity of the animal kingdom. They journeyed underground, into the clouds, underwater and through tall grass, and also created many new and bizarre creatures. Thanks to the child audiences, who are present on the stage from beginning to end, new creatures are created every time.

The interactive performance is connected with a movement, music and visual arts workshop with the artists. Children can try out movement and dance, learn about the animal kingdom, listen to music, create new music and sounds, and engage in artistic reflection.
