NWCT Hosts 'Renaissance of the Historic Alphabet District' Walking Tour Today
The Northwest Children's Theater presents the Renaissance of the Historic Alphabet District, the 2nd Annual Walking Tour of Historic Homes in NW Portland. The event takes place today, May 5th, 2013 from 11am-4pm. Tickets are $25 available through www.nwcts.org and at the Cultural Center the day of the event. For further information call 503. 222. 4480.
The Tour includes 8 historic homes raging from 1880 1909 and begins at the Historic NW Neighborhood Cultural Center (originally known as the First Church of Christ, Scientist, 1909), located at 1819 NW Everett Street, Portland, Oregon 97211.
Participants in the tour will enjoy knowing that proceeds will support Capital Improvements for one of NW Portland's most unique historic structures, the NW Neighborhood Cultural Center and to upgrade facilities for the Northwest Children's Theater & School and others that utilize the building.
