"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived 12 little girls in two straight lines." It's the night before Christmas and everyone is sick in bed. All except brave Madeline, who is up and about and feeling just fine. Taking care of 11 little girls and Miss Clavel is hard work, but Madeline finds help from a magical merchant peddling flying carpets door-to-door. Now the girls are going on a Christmas journey that will surely make them forget their sniffles and sneezes.

"Madeline's Christmas is a heartwarming and lovable event for children and adults alike. It wonderfully captures the spirit of Bemelman's book with its message of kindness and taking care of others." -Barbara Richardson, MPA Executive Director

Dress to impress for a special red-carpet event on Friday, December 1st at the opening night performance. Meet Madeline and listen to some live holiday music in the lobby. Special VIP tickets are available and include; a picture on the red carpet with Madeline and Miss Clavel, reserved seating for the show and a VIP lounge in the lobby with hors d'oevres and hot chocolate.

MPA, in collaboration with Santa's Posse, will sponsor a toy drive during Madeline's Christmas. When you come to see the show, bring a new, unwrapped toy, non-perishable food item, clothing item (socks, sweat shirts, coats) or gift card to donate to a less-fortunate family. The cast of Madeline's Christmas will deliver your gift to the Clark County's Sherriff's Office, help with wrapping and delivering.

The cast of Madeline's Christmas will also be visiting local K-5 classrooms, reading aloud the book "Madeline". You can catch a free book reading on Saturday, November 18th at The Vancouver Community Library at 10:30am or at The Kazoodles Toy Store at 2:00pm. Stop by and hear songs from the musical and meet Madeline!
