On April 15, 2017, triangle productions! of Portland, Oregon announced their 28th season. There will be 7 shows in the season in operation at two different locales. Scroll down for details!

SHOW # 1 SEPT 7-30, 2017

Hand to God by Robert Askins

NOMINATED: 5 Tony Awards 2015 DARK COMEDY

THE STORY: After the death of his father, meek Jason finds an outlet for his anxiety at the Christian Puppet Ministry, in the devoutly religious, relatively quiet small town of Cypress, Texas. Jason's complicated relationships with the town pastor, the school bully, the girl next door, and-most especially-his mother are thrown into upheaval when Jason's puppet, Tyrone, takes on a shocking and dangerously irreverent personality all its own. Hand To God explores the startlingly fragile nature of faith, morality, and the ties that bind us. Featuring Laura Faye-Smith

This show will be playing at Darcelle XV Club - the location is 208 NW Third.

What would you give to vote for your favorite female beauty queen? Well, now you have your chance! triangle productions! is bringing back its hilarious original PAGEANT. Yes, the spoof on beauty pageants is coming back for a limited run. Returning 'contestants' are Joe Healy, Shaun Hennessey, Pepe Rafel and Kevin Cook/Poison Waters.

An Act of God by David Javerbaum

THE STORY: The One with the first and last word on everything has finally arrived to set the record straight. After many millennia, and in just 90 minutes, God (assisted by His devoted angels) answers some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. With James Sharinghousen and Leah Yorkstron playing Gabriel and Mickela respectively the angels to assist GOD - Norman Wilson.

SHOW # 3 FEBRUARY 1 - 24, 2018

The Madness of Lady Bright by Lanford Wilson

THE STORY: THE MADNESS OF LADY BRIGHT traces the mental breakdown of Lesley Bright, an aging homosexual whose past returns to haunt him with the emptiness of the choices he made.

Gary Norman stars in this short play by Lanford Wilson, among the earliest of the gay theatre movement. It was first performed at Joe Cino's Caffe Cino in May 1964 and went on to tour internationally, appearing in revivals to the present day. It has been cited as the first off-Broadway production to receive mainstream critical attention

triangle will also present a World Premiere Production about the real story of how George Jorgensen in 1947, an ex-military became the world famous Christine Jorgensen.

SHOW # 4 March 8-31, 2018

Our Mother's Brief Affair by Richard Greenberg

THE STORY: On the verge of death for the umpteenth time, Anna makes a shocking confession to her grown children: an affair from her past that just might have resonance beyond the family. But how much of what she says is true? While her children try to separate fact from fiction, Anna fights for a legacy she can be proud of. The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey by James Lecesne

Winner of the Outer Circle Critics Award for Best Solo Performance

THE STORY: One actor (Todd Von Voris) portrays every character in a small Jersey Shore town as he unravels the story of Leonard Pelkey, a tenaciously optimistic and flamboyant fourteen-year-old boy who goes missing. A luminous force of nature whose magic is only truly felt once he is gone, Leonard becomes an unexpected inspiration as the town's citizens question how they live, who they love, and what they leave behind.

SHOW # 6 GAY PRIDE PLAY - JUNE 7-23, 2018 -

STRAIGHT By Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola.

Meet Ben. Ben is a 26-year-old investment banker. Ben likes beer, sports and Emily and Chris. Straight is a provocative new play that deals with fidelity, sexuality and identity in "post-equality" America. Funny, sad, sexy and surprising, this three-character drama takes a hard look at the moral complex of a generation that prides itself on the pretense of acceptance.


Season tickets are available in a 5 or 6 show package - ranging from $125 to $150 per package with Pageant ticket prices, which is an add on are only $20 each.
