THE URBAN BIRDER Comes to Wroclawski Teatr Wspolczesny Next Month

The Urban Birder is a book by David Lindo, a British birdwatcher, nature promoter and ornithology enthusiast.

The play, loosely referring to it, is based on the perverse idea of telling about nature in the theater. Its creators recognize that rethinking the place of man in the ecosystem is the most important challenge facing society, and thus also artists. David Lindo's observations are for them a pretext for theatrical fun and reflection on how birdwatching, with its slow rhythm and capricious dynamics, can contribute to a different perception of the surrounding reality.
