The Second City Returns to Pittsburgh Public Theater with New Show Fair & Unbalanced
A launching pad for generations of comedy superstars such as Tina Fey, Steve Carell, and Stephen Colbert, The Second City is internationally known for its cutting-edge satiric revues, sketches, songs, and improvisations. Sponsored by ABARTA, Inc., five young comedians from The Second City will bring their new show, Fair & Unbalanced, to the O'Reilly Theater for four performances.
Fair & Unbalanced runs December 16 - 18, 2010 at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District. For tickets call 412.316.1600 or visit www.ppt.org.
Filled with laughter, music and audience participation, Fair & Unbalanced takes unbridled comic pleasure in the foibles of our politicians, celebrities, and even our significant others. From the blowhards of the Beltway to the Hollywood elite, no institution escapes the satiric eye of The Second City in this hilarious ride through present-day America.
For The Second City's shows, Pittsburgh Public Theater will add cabaret seating with a limited number of tables and chairs surrounding the stage. The bars will be open throughout the performance and beverages will be allowed in the theater.
