Scott Logsdon, Liz McCartney & More Headline SWEENEY TODD Concert at Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center
The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies and the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center presented a sold-out concert version of SWEENEY TODD at the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center in Johnstown, PA on Sunday, February 15, 2015. The concert proceeds will benefit the Arts Coalition of the Alleghenies.
The concert featured Broadway performers alongside area talent. Headlining the cast were Scott Logsdon (Broadway's LES MISERABLES) as Sweeney, Liz McCartney (Big Sue in Broadway's TABOO, Rosie in Broadway's MAMMA MIA and Madame Morrible in the national company of WICKED) and Mary Setrakian (whose credits include Broadway's HELLO, DOLLY with Carol Channing, Madame Giry in the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA national tour and the national company of LES MISERABLES) as the Beggar Woman. Logsdon also directed.
Other nationally recognized talent in the concert were Michael Marra (Broadway's LES MISERABLES and the national company of JEKYLL & HYDE), who played the villainous Judge Turpin and Buck Dietz (THE SOUND OF MUSIC and American premiere of CHILDREN OF EDEN), who portrayed Pirelli.
Rounding out the principal cast were Mickey Orange as Anthony, Noelle Patrick as Johanna, Isaac McNulty as Tobias, Jeffrey Webb as The Beadle, Mary B. Mauzy as Lucy and Nathan Magee as Fogg.
The ensemble and chorus were comprised of Jean Arcurio, Tony Anthony, Scott "Biff" Baron, Kevin Bean, Mallory Bean, Ariana Bittner, Maggie Bodorach, Jayme Brooks, Alexis Buncich, Nathan Cook, Johnna Cwik, Josh Devett, Kelly Devett, Laura Eidem, Tessa Evans, Emily Felton, Sam Fuge, Cassandra Gallina, Amber M. Gobbel, Matt Harris, Cheyenne Helsel, Carrie Law, Mari Grace Lingenfelter, Tony Malvoisin, Mary B. Mauzy, Chris McAllister, Jacob Meager, Michael Nicholson, Jennifer M. Oaks, Jonathan Pauley, Morgan Rickley, Joshua Rinaman, Hunter Tresnicky, Ian Wieczorek, Kelly Jo Wise, Gregory Zaborowski and Rachel Zaborowski. Also in the cast were Ian Dobbins, Emily Peters and Paul Tretter.
Musical direction was by Matt Thomas and Michael Bodolosky was the executive producer.
