OTHELLO Opens at Actors' NET's Heritage Center in Morrisville 6/10-26

OTHELLO: William Shakespeare's immortal Othello takes to the Heritage Center stage in Morrisville. Love, jealousy and racial hatred swirl wildly throughout this monumental masterwork. Need we say "Moor?" Co-Directed by NET Artistic Director Cheryl Doyle of Morrisville and George Hartpence of New Hope. Starring Carlo Campbell of Philadelphia as Othello; George Hartpence of New Hope as Iago; Tess Ammerman of Arneytown, NJ as Desdemona; BrIan Kelly of Doylestown as Cassio; Aaron Wexler of Philadelphia as Roderigo; Carol Thompson of New Hope as Emilia; Mort Paterson of Philadelphia as Brabantio; Jack Bathke of Robbinsville, NJ as The Duke and Lodovico; Allison DeKorte of Newtown as Bianca; DeLarme Landes of Doylestown as Montano; and Matthew Cassidy of Morrisville as "Gratiano." Featuring Tom Harrelson of Churchville; Erik Benrud of Philadelphia; Daniel Reiher of Aston and Brian Slayton of West Windsor, NJ. Stage managed by Matthew Cassidy. Lighting Design by Andrena Wishnie of Morrisville. Costumes by Cheryl Doyle. Fight Choreography by Steve Kazakoff of Pennington, NJ. Edited for the stage by George Hartpence and Cheryl Doyle.

TIMES: All three weekends, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.

PLACE: The Heritage Center, 635 North Delmorr Avenue (Route 32), Morrisville, PA - near the Calhoun Street Bridge.

COMING July 15 - 31: CABARET: Book by Joe Masteroff. Music & Lyrics by Kander & Ebb. In 1931 Germany, the Nazis' rise to power spares no one -- not even the performers and patrons of the Kit Kat Club. Hit songs include "Willkommen," "Don't Tell Mama" and, of course, the title song, "Cabaret." Directed by Joe Doyle. Assistant Director, Pam Jorgensen. Musical Direction by Pat Masterson. Choreography by Dani-Tucci Juraga. Starring Tess Ammerman and John Bergeron. Costarring Mark Versprille, Marco Newton, Susan Blair and Tami Feist. And also starring Scott Lutz as "The Emcee."
