ELF THE MUSICAL to Run 11/29-12/1 at Benedum Center

NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features, bring the Broadway musical ELF to the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh. Tickets are available, but limited, for performances Tuesday, November 26 to Sunday, December 1, 2013; with best availability on Thursday, November 28. ELF THE MUSICAL is part of the PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh series, presented by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Broadway Across America and Pittsburgh Symphony.

ELF is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy's enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF.

Based on the beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit, ELF features songs by Tony Award nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie, The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). The production will feature direction by Sam Scalamoni and choreography by Connor Gallagher.

The cast will feature Matt Kopec (Buddy), Tyler Altomari (Michael), Jane Bruce (Emily), Jacqueline Grabois (Deb), Gordon Gray (Santa), Kate Hennies (Jovie), Kevin Rockower (Mr. Greenway), Matthew Alan Smith (Walter), and Clyde Voce (Store Manager). The cast will also feature Austin Brannan, LilyAnn Carlson, Mara Gabrielle, Timothy Grady, Dan Higgins, Caitlin Leary, Ryan Patrick Lingle, Nick Lorenzini, Kyle McIntire, Elyse Niederee, Jacqueline Nuzzo, Lauren Palmeri, Christopher Timson, Amy Van Norstrand, and Tanner Wilson.

The performance schedule is Tuesday-Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; Friday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.; Sunday at 1:00 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets begin at $20 and are available at the Box Office at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, by visiting www.TrustArts.org, or by calling (412) 456-4800.
