Theatre Artists Studio Presents THE PRICE by Arthur Miller

By:

The Studio proudly presents The Price by Pulitzer Prize winner, and Kennedy Center Honoree, Arthur Miller. This brilliant and powerful play marked the author's triumphant return to Broadway, and is being revived on Broadway this winter starring Danny DeVito.

When the Great Depression cost his family their fortune, Victor Franz gave up his dream of an education to support his father. Three decades later, Victor has returned to his childhood home to sell the remainder of his parents' estate. His wife, his estranged brother, and the wily furniture dealer hired to appraise their possessions all arrive with their own agendas, forcing Victor to confront a question, long-stifled, about the value of his sacrifice.

Directed by guest artist and Arizona State University faculty member, William Partlan, The Price features studio members Alan Austin, Judy Lebeau, Steven Mastroieni, and Walt Pedano.

Theatre Artists Studio presents The Price from October 14 through October 30 at The Studio, 4848 E. Cactus Rd, #406, in Scottsdale. Show times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Note: The October 29 performance is SOLD OUT.

Tickets are $25 for General Admission, $15 for Students 25 & Under and $20 for Groups of 10 or More, Seniors 65 and over and Members of the Military. For tickets, call the box office at 602-765-0120 or visit: www.thestudiophx.org.
