Theater Works Extends THE DIXIE SWIM CLUB Through 2/26

Theater Works has extended The Dixie Swim Club for one more week.

Directed by Bob Sorenson this play tells the story of "five longtime friends who set aside a weekend every August to renew their relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years."

The Dixie Swim Club's remaining performances in the McMillin Theater are February 16th through February 26th.

Starring Debra Rich*, Susan Sindelar, Shari Watts, Cathy Dresbach* and Janine Smith (*Equity Actor) The Dixie Swim Club tickets are now on sale both online at theaterworks.org and at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts. The Box Office is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily and may be reached at 623-815-7930. Dixie Swim Club runs January 20th - February 19th with performances Thursday - Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Sundays 2 p.m. There is also a special weekday matinee on Wednesday, February 1st at 2 p.m. Tickets are only $33 / adult and $23 / student (prices include service and processing fees). Theater Works is located in the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts (the theater with the copper roof) at 8355 W Peoria Avenue, Peoria.
