Alfred Jarry's absurdist classic returns to the Space 55 stage for its 10th anniversary season! What to expect during UBU ROI? It's the time-honored story of what happens when a big fat idiot is put in charge of a country, with lots of war, blood, guts, food fights, magic, shouting, puppets, chaos, hilarity, horror and the just plain bizarre sprinkled into the mix.

UBU ROI cast includes Ashley Naftule as Papa Ubu, Lana Antropova as Mama Ubu with Ron Foligno (Sexual Perversity in Chicago) Shannon Phelps (Sexual Perversity in Chicago) Dennis Frederick, Renee Boehm, Megan Holcomb and Yonathan Surafel. UBU ROI will be directed by Duane Daniels.

"We begin 2016 with a wild event, Jarry's UBU ROI. Everything is different. We have reconfigured the theatre to give our audience a very unusual theatrical experience." Duane Daniels, Space 55 Artistic Director.

Performances of UBU ROI are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 5 pm from January 15 through February 13. There will be a special performance on February 5th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $18 for Friday and Saturday evenings and $15 for Sunday performances and are available at www.space55.org or at the door.
