Mesa Arts Center Hosts Yasmin Levy, 3/22
By: Kelsey Denette
What: Once heard, Yasmin Levy's voice is never forgotten. Her passionate vocal delivery and striking good looks continue to entrance fans new and old. In Levy's music, there is a tension between the purity of Ladino (the Judeo-Spanish music of Spain) and the fiery heart of flamenco. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1975, her sound is distinctly international.
