BOO! A HALLOWEEN SPECTACULAR Opens in Peoria, 10/13
Witches, vampires and goblins are having a spooktacularly good time at Theater Works with the family friendly Boo! A Halloween Spooktacular puppet show! The lights are off and the stage is set for a special Halloween treat as audiences follow Denny, Kenny, and Penny as they encounter witches, a sad ghost, and a sparkling vampire on Halloween night. Done entirely in black light the puppets, stage and YOU glow in the dark creating a fun and thrilling adventure for the whole family. Ideal for children ages 3 and up each performance features an interactive talk back session. Opening on Saturday, October 13th, Boo! A Halloween Spooktacular runs until October 27th. Tickets are on sale now for $6/person.
Following each performance of Boo! A Halloween Spooktacular the puppets and puppeteers encourage the children to interact and ask questions with a talk back. After the talk back children are invited to participate in a "Make-n-Take", which lets them build their own puppet to take home! The "Make-n-Take" workshop is only $4 / participant. No reservations are necessary but seating for the shows and workshops is limited. Registration for workshops is recommended and can be made in advance of each performance in person or by calling the Box Office at 623.815.7930. Join Theater Works' Boo! A Halloween Spooktacular for a unique and safe Halloween celebration.
Puppet Works is also willing to work with schools and day care centers to create special performances during the week. Please contact Chris Hamby, Director of Youth Programs at chamby@theaterworks.org or 623.815.1791 ext. 108 for more information.
