The cast of Arizona Theatre Company's production of [title of show] presents "A Cabaret Benefit for Haiti" on Sunday, February 28 at 10 PM at My Florist Café, 534 W. McDowell Rd., downtown Phoenix. This event is open to the public with a suggested entry donation of $10. Guests who choose to double the suggested donation will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Arizona Theatre Company production. Guests may also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a night-on-the-town dinner/theatre package. All proceeds will go directly to Doctors Without Borders to aid Haiti.

"A Cabaret Benefit for Haiti" will be an evening of contemporary musical theatre written by hot, new composers Brad Alexander, Eli Bolin, Adam Gwon - mixed nicely with some classics ... reinvented by Arizona Theatre Company's cast of [title of show]. Like [title of show], "A Cabaret Benefit for Haiti" contains mature language and content.

"A poll released Tuesday, February 9th found that fifty-nine percent of Haitians in the United Stated had lost loved ones in the earthquake. Eighty percent of residents in Haiti live in poverty, according to the CIA World Factbook. And with the estimates of casualties in the hundreds of thousands, it's hard to imagine the devastation and hard to imagine what one individual can do to help," said Stanley Bahorek, who plays "Hunter" in [title of show]. "Nonetheless, we collectively felt we could do our part by hosting an evening to raise some funds to aid Haiti. We decided to put together a cabaret to showcase our vocal prowess, encyclopedic knowledge of contemporary musical theatre, impeccable delivery of comedy, and our unpretentiousness. So we're doing a cabaret where we can really show our inner diva ... and it's to benefit Haiti, so that's good too."

The cast of Arizona Theatre Company's [title of show] includes Stanley Bahorek, Lauren Lebowitz, Kelly McCormick and Sal Sabella. Accompaniment will be provided by Larry Pressgrove, the original "Larry" in [title of show]'s off-Broadway and Broadway runs.

[title of show] is a dizzy, unpredictable, and uproarious tongue-in-cheek musical about show business and making one's dreams come true. Follow Jeff, Hunter, Heidi and Susan as they negotiate a musical theatre obstacle course of finding backers, casting singers, and making it to Broadway. This hit musical is being staged for Arizona audiences by the same team of artists that created ATC's hit productions of Hair and The Pajama Game. [title of show] runs February 18 through March 7 at the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix. Please note: [title of show] contains mature language and content.
