Her husbands rather weak answers fail to convince. Left alone with a five-year-old son, Yasuyo barely manages to make ends meet, works in a supermarket, and gets special attention from the store manager. She looks at her husband across the prisons glass wall and thinks, Shall I break up with him or not? Life is disgusting and Yasuyo has had more than her fill of it already.
