Manila, Philippines, March 19, 2013 -- A daring theatrical experiment, filled with blood and gore, comes to Tanghalang Huseng Batute at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) from Thursday, March 21 to Saturday, March 23.

WeMakeGoodProductions and CCP, in cooperation with Rho Delta Rho Mendiola, Rho Delta Rho Philippines, and a group of theater neophytes, present "Isolation Room," a reimagining of French existentialist philosopher and playwright Jean-Paul Sartre's "No Exit," written by C.K. Bautista.

A cross between horror flicks "Saw" and "Walking Dead," the play's story begins with seven people waking up in a room without any inkling where they are, how they were brought there, and who could have brought them there.

Personality differences among the group members develop unavoidable friction, creating a rift among them. Amidst the division, the group hears an almost inaudible voice over; a "screamfest" begins and all hell breaks loose as the words "three hours" are overheard.

An amalgam of twists and conspiracy theories follows suit.

"Isolation Room," directed by Rolando T. Inocencio, stars Chad Hemady, Nic Campos, Tara Tarranco, Japo Parcero, Harry David, Rina Reinoso, Nikki Lorenzo, Chiara Garcia, Karl Jingco, Ram Lopez, and Raven Molina.

Its creative and production teams include Daisuke Nakada and Karl Jingco (set design), Harry David and Angelo Arcangel (fight choreography), David Molina (photography and videography), Christian Bautista (poster and concept), and Gio Dionisio (lighting design).
