MISS SAIGON Alum Holds Workshop in Davao City

Davao City, Philippines, September 21, 2011 -- Miguel Braganza II, Miss Saigon alumnus, MB2NY/ART EARTHIQUE artistic director and New York Young Performers Workshop (NYYPW) director, will conduct a two-day, Broadway-style singing, dancing and acting workshop for children (9-15 years old) and adults (16 years old and above) at the Marco Polo Davao Fitness Center on September 24 and 25.

Braganza finished theater studies at Silliman University in Dumaguete City and studied dance at the Alvin American Dance Center in New York City.  He was also a recipient of various scholarships, which included the Nat Horne (musical theater), Madame Youskevitch (classical ballet), New Dance Group (modern and jazz) and Walter Terry (dance and choreography) at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  As the Artistic Director of MB2NY/ART EARTHIQUE and Program Director of NYYPW, he had conceptualized, directed and choreographed FIA 2008, DANZAFABRIQUE 2010 and AURUS MINDANAO 2011, and had supervised the musical theater program of the United Nations International School in Queens, New York. He performed in the touring productions of Miss Saigon (North America, Germany, United Kingdom and Portugal) from 1992 to 2006.
