Artist Recital Series: Revolution Tunes, part of Tempesta di Mare's Soundtrack of Independence series, offers a glimpse into the home music-making of Francis Hopkinson, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of Philadelphia's most accomplished musicians. Hopkinson amassed a collection of harpsichord "Lessons" comprising several hundred short pieces, including transcriptions of London Opera favorites and works by prominent European composers. Keyboardist John Walthausen performs this recital at two venues, Woodmere Art Museum and Christ Church Neighborhood House.
