The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater will present the hilarious musical comedy, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change for three weeks beginning Friday, February 10. Just in time for Valentine's Day, this celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship" - giving audiences a funny look at flirtation (and everything that goes with it).

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is world-renowned for tweaking men's and women's often comic attempts at romance. With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, (the 2010 Tony Award winner for Memphis), and music by Jimmy Roberts, it became the second-longest running Off-Broadway musical in history (after The Fantasticks) and was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Off-Broadway musical in 1997.

Directed by Bohdan Senkow (Clifton Heights), the Director of Theatre at Widener University, with Musical Direction by Charles McWilliams ( ), I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change features the great musical talents of Art Bookout, Victoria Healy and Robert Welch of Wilmington, Delaware; Tom Halley and Theodora Psitos of Wallingford; and Donna Dougherty of West Chester.

There will be a community discussion following the matinee performance on Sunday, February 12th. Any ticket holders who wish to do so can remain following the performance and chat with the actors and production staff. In fact, theater lovers who have reservations for a different performance are welcome to come after the show and join in the conversation as well.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change runs February 10-12, 16-19 and 23-25, with performances Thu-Sat @ 8pm and Sun @ 2pm. The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater is located at 614 Fairview Road in Swarthmore, PA 19081-just off Route 320. The theater is only minutes from I-95 and Route 476, with the R3 Regional Rail line within walking distance, at The Edge of the Swarthmore College campus. The 300-seat Main stage is fully handicapped accessible. The theater makes assisted listening devices available at no charge and offers plenty of free off-street parking.
