The Barnstormers Presents SHAKESPEARE IN THE TRAILER PARK
By: Gabrielle Sierra
The folks of Capulet Hills and Montague Acres are not a bunch of local Quakers. They are knee-slapping, beer totin', NASCAR fanatics who take their love of the sport and hatred of each other to a new level of discourse - Shakespeare style.
"Shakespeare in the Trailer Park" is a hilarious and clever mash-up of the Bard's "Romeo and Juliet," "Macbeth," "Merchant of Venice" and "Hamlet" set in Frog Level, Virginia where the battle of the trailer parks ensues over whose park has got to go in order to make room for a brand new Walmart. A unique solution is offered and the colorful residents such as Doughnut, Cheese and Scotch MacBreath and Macon Bacon, pull out all the stops to win.Shakespeare in the Trailer Park features:Ted Kogut; Timothy Sheridan; Cindy and Bill Starcher; Lisa Panzer, Patrick O'Neill; Dave Palmer; Kate Crawford; Animesh Karna; Dina Bogino; Nancy Kersey and Gina ValaniaDirected by Marsha L.
