Star of the Day Event Productions' BAT BOY Bows This Week

Star of the Day Event Productions stages their second Main Stage production set to open this Friday, September 18, 2015. Bat Boy: The Musical is an American rock musical that will have you on the edge of your seat. with a book by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming and music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe, based on a June 23, 1992 Weekly World News story about a half-boy, half-bat, dubbed "Bat Boy", who grew up living in a cave.

The show stars Sebastian Paff of Easton, PA. He is a graduate of Easton Area High School and Northampton Community College. Rounding out the cast is Kirsten Almeida (of Hellertown), Nicole Anderson (of Easton), Lizzy Boehm (of Bethlehem), Marissa Brewer (of Nazareth), Lindsey Hresko (of Bethlehem), Amanda Carol Pascale (of Belvidere, NJ), Michael Piz (of Allentown), Francesca Rhoads (of Allentown), and Charles Weigold III (of Hellertown.) The show is directed by Will Erwin (of Bethlehem), Choreographed by Kirsten Almeida, and Musically Directed by Chris Hamm (of Nazareth.) The show is a dark comedy, soap opera, and greek tragedy all rolled into one rock musical. It's a great way to kick off the fall and Halloween season.

Shows run Fridays and Saturdays, September 18, 19, 25, 26 at 8pm, Sundays, September 20 and 27 at 2PM. Tickets are available online at www.StaroftheDay.org, by phone at 484-809-9228, or at the door. All performances take place at McCoole's Arts & Events Place, 10 S. Main St., Quakertown, PA 18951. Doors open half hour prior to the show. There is adult content in this show. It is recommended for ages 16+.
