'SHE LOVES YOU' AND PHILLY TOO!

By:

SHE LOVES YOU! will take audiences back to the sights and sounds of the era of love, revolution, and music of the 1960's. The live musical performance by band members includes selections of the Fab Four's greatest hits, along with an audio and visual multi-media retrospective of America during the 60's era showing classic television footage, vintage newsreels clips, retro commercials and bits from variety shows....a truly nostalgic retrospective that is sure to conjure up great memories.

She Loves You! Producer Rick Belzer, born in Philadelphia and raised in the Bucks County area, is a former Broadway lighting designer who worked on Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice including ‘Cats,' ‘Evita,' ‘Jesus Christ Superstar' and ‘Starlight Express.'

The musical journey takes you to the history making 1964 Ed Sullivan Show which first introduced "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "Close Your Eyes" and "I Saw Her Standing There". Second Set- Shea Stadium with a record holding 56,000 fans and tunes "Hard Day's Night", "Yesterday", "Day Tripper."
We head into the Sgt. Pepper Era with those colorful, gaudy costumes and memorable songs "A Little Help from My Friends" "Goodbye/Hello" with some nifty video graphics, "Strawberry Fields". The Beatles never performed this music live as they stopped touring after 1966.

Flower Power abounds as we return to plenty of flashbacks of meditation and incense, and songs from the Rubber Soul Album such as "Girl" and "In My Life" album.

The next set takes us to the Abbey Road journey of 1969-70 from, "Come Together", "Get Back",  to "Carry That Weight" , which drummer Carmine Grippo (Ringo),  shows his great stuff right into "The End". No Beatles tribute would be complete without a never-ending version of "Hey Jude" with full audience participation.

A rousing encore number, which shall remain a secret, really has the audience on their feet.

SHE LOVES YOU! LOVES THE PHILLIES -- Members of the Beatles band, SHE LOVES YOU! show their support for the playoff-bound Philadelphia Phillies while visiting Philadelphia's Love Park in honor of John Lennon's birthday on Oct. 9. The show, a concert and multi-media experience recreating the music of the Beatles, is currently playing at the Society Hill Playhouse in Philadelphia through December, 2008.  Band members are : Graham Alexander (Paul), Carmine Grippo (Ringo), John Brosnan (George) and Scot Arch (John).
