Theatre Exile presents The Lieutenant of Inishmore, by Martin McDonagh. Directed by Matt Pfeiffer with a star-studded artistic team, The Lieutenant of Inishmore runs February 17 through March 13 at Plays and Players Theatre, with the press opening Wednesday, February 23 at 8pm.

Martin McDonagh's The Lieutenant of Inishmore drops audiences into the eye of a firestorm, where citizens of a small Irish town are locked, loaded and ready to go. This blackest of comedies packs enough romance, vengeance, family strife, betrayal, patriotism, danger and lyricism into its 110 minutes of merry butchery to make the Bard blush.

Director Matt Pfeiffer has assembled some of the most exciting artists to bring this gore ballet to life, including Waldo Warsaw, special effects designer from the original Broadway production. With 60 rounds of ammunition, gallons of blood, and exploding cats, this will be the biggest, bloodiest theatrical event of Theatre Exile's season.
