Media Theatre Extends ANNIE featuring Wanda Sykes Through 1/9
Wanda Sykes will be dealing with a little red-haired orphan a week longer than originally planned. Her performance as Miss Hannigan in The Media Theatre's "Annie" is so popular the show has been extended one week and will now close on January 23. (Sykes is currently on hiatus from the production, but returns Jan. 12. Popular Philly actress Mary Martello takes on the iconic Hannigan now through Jan. 9)
The extension week will include Wednesday Jan. 19 at 2pm and 7pm; Thursday Jan. 20 at 7pm; Friday Jan. 21 at 7pm; Saturday Jan. 22 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday Jan. 23 at 3pm. Tickets for the entire run, including the extension, are available now by calling 610-891-0100 or visiting www.mediatheatre.org
"Annie" also features Broadway actor Paul Jackel as Daddy Warbucks and Tori Heinlein as Annie, who appeared on the Great White Way in "White Christmas".
