When four dynamic, award-winning musical stars from Broadway, film, TV and recordings come together for one night on the same stage, what transpires is an evening of song, dance, laughter and memories that will leave you seeing stars. 4 GIRLS 4 is a fabulously flirty, funny, frolic, featuring four famous females - Leslie Uggams, Maureen McGovern, Andrea McArdle and Donna McKechnie - and it takes the State Theatre stage on Friday, April 4th.

Leslie Uggams is a Tony and Emmy Award winner whose career has touched both the big screen and small screen as well as the stage. Best known for her role in the landmark mini-series Roots, Uggams has performed to critical acclaim since her first professional appearance at the age of nine at the famed Apollo Theater. Maureen McGovern recorded two movie themes in the 1970s that garnered Academy Awards. Since the 80s, McGovern has been in numerous productions on and off Broadway as well as on National Tours, performing in shows such as Little Women, the Musical; Pirates of Penzance and the King and I.

Andrea McArdle first captured the hearts of theatergoers everywhere in 1977 when she originated the title role in the mega-musical ANNIE. Since then, she has starred in several Broadway musicals and appeared in theatres in New York, nationally and internationally. As "Annie", McArdle became the youngest performer ever to be nominated for a Tony Award as Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Donna McKechnie, the Tony Award winning star of A CHORUS LINE, is regarded internationally as one of Broadway's foremost dancing and singing leading ladies. Bob Fosse invited McKechnie to play the lead in his last production, a National tour of SWEET CHARITY, for which she was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award.

The Technical Director for 4 Girls 4 is Patrick Rinn who is also the Production Manager for Tommy Tune's Taps, Tunes and Tall Tales and Steps In Time-An Autobiography in Song and Dance. In addition to his work with Mr. Tune, Rinn has worked as Production Supervisor for concerts with artists such as Prince, Diana Ross, Dave Mathews, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Chic, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, B52's, & Adam Lambert.

Serving as Music Director is John McDaniel, who won two Emmy Awards for his work on the Rosie O'Donnell Show. McDaniel also won both a Tony and Grammy in 1999 for the Broadway musical Annie Get Your Gun.
