Curio Theatre Company concludes its 11th Season taking audiences to the remote Irish town of Inishmaan to experience Martin McDonagh's award-winning, The Cripple of Inishmaan. This TONY-Award nominated tragicomedy runs April 21-May 21. Curio shows typically run on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 8 p.m. schedule. Tickets cost $15-$25 per person. Tickets and more information are available online at www.curiotheartre.org.

In this modern classic, Hollywood comes to the remote Irish island town of Inishmaan to make a documentary of country life in 1934. The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is young "Cripple" Billy, if only to break away from the poverty and boredom of his daily life. Will he surprise the town with his talent? In 2014, a revival of this legendary work earned multiple TONY nominations and starred Daniel Radcliffe. Said the New York Times, "But as outrageously funny as it often is, the play aches with a subliminal sadness that stays with you. The fabrications and speculations that these characters spin, in the fine old tradition of wild Irish yarns, come from an awareness that life is short and dangerous and, perhaps worst of all, empty."

The Curio production is directed by Joshua Browns. The cast includes: Trice Baldwin as Eileen, Curio Company Member Aetna Gallagher as Kate, Curio Artistic Director Paul Kuhn is JohnnyPateenMike, Curio Company Member Colleen Hughes as Helen, Robert Cutler as Doctor McSharry, Andrew Carroll as Bartley, Curio Company Member Steve Carpenter as BabbyBobby, Peggy Smith as Mammy, and Peter Danelski as Billy Claven.

Paul Kuhn, Curio's Artistic Director is the Set Designer. Robin Stamey is the Lighting Designer. Susan Adelizzi is the Sound Designer. Curio Company Member Aetna Gallagher is the Costume Designer.
