The State Theatre Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that Brown-Daub has become the principal sponsor of its gallery space, which includes the main gallery and gallery annex.

"The State Theatre is truly one of the gems of our Lehigh Valley," comments L. Anderson Daub. "It is a leading arts organization that consistently brings quality entertainment to our region, and this in turn generates economic vitality in Easton's downtown historic district. Brown-Daub is celebrating our 75th year of serving the Lehigh Valley area, and we are proud to support the efforts of the non-profit State Theatre as part of our celebration of serving the community."

The State Theatre will host a special pre-show reception for Brown-Daub this Saturday, March 5th from 6:30 - 8 PM, prior to the main stage concert with Jesse Cook.

The Brown-Daub Gallery at the State Theatre features exhibits of local artists through a programming partnership with ACE (Arts Community of Easton). Each season, the State Theatre also produces its own photography exhibit in conjunction with the FREDDY© Awards. Recently, the space has expanded to use the gallery annex, featuring local photography. Local community groups and musical acts are often invited to perform before main stage performances.

Currently, the Lehigh Art Alliance Spring Juried Exhibition is on display in the main gallery through March 26th. Modern Times, a photo exhibit by Theo Anderson, is in the annex through June. Upcoming community performances include the O'Grady Quinlan Dancers March 10th (prior to Lord of the Dance) and Easton School of Rock April 28th (prior to ASIA). The Brown-Daub Gallery is open to the public 90 minutes prior to most State Theatre performances and during intermissions.

The contemporary space, which has its own entrance at 5th & Northampton Street, also functions as a pre-show bar on show nights, is used for receptions, special events and rehearsals, and provides a source of rental income for the Center for the Arts.
