Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) celebrates love and relationships during the month of November and invites audience members, newlyweds and long-married couples alike, to renew their wedding vows at the theatre after the November 11, 2 p.m. matinee of off-Broadway's long-standing marital musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (now - November 22).

Star of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Christine Toy Johnson, whose credits include Tommy Tune's Grease and Susan Stroman's Music Man on Broadway and TV's Ugly Betty and Crossing Jordan, will officiate the ceremony immediately following the 2 p.m. matinee performance. To celebrate, BRT invites the happily renewed couples as well as the matinee audience to share in a cake and champagne reception after the ceremony. Each couple will also receive a framed certificate commemorating the ceremony.
Among participants are Barrymore voter Joseph Marrella and his wife, Ruth Marrella, who will be celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary the day of the vow renewal, November 11. "We are delighted to be included and are looking forward to the event," says Joseph, "As we look back on all our celebrations, this one will be truly special."
Hailed by The Star Ledger as "a great date show. A perfect mating dance. It's Seinfeld set to music," I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, with book and lyrics by Joe Di Pietro and music by Jimmy Roberts is an award-winning (Outer Critics Circle Award, 1997) throwback to the classic comedic musical review that explores the trials and tribulations of being single, dating, marriage, loss, and heartbreak, through songs such as Single Men Drought and Marriage Tango in sidesplitting vignettes.

ADMISSION: The vow renewal is free for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change ticket-holders, but reservations are required. For reservations, call Rayna at 215-785-6664.

Tickets are $39 - $42, $15 for students, $10 for Balcony Club patrons 40 and under, available online at www.brtstage.org or by calling (215) 785-0100.
