Music historian Fred Miller presents the latest in his annual American Songwriter Series at New Hope, Pennsylvania's historic Phillips' Mill Community Association by celebrating the greater and lesser known songs of Jerry Herman on Friday and Saturday, November 10-11 and 17-18, 2017.
Featured performers returning for this program are Lynell Antonelli, Valerie Eastburn, Daniel T Gramkee, Lori Hynson, Andrea Kenyon, Cecily Laidman and Tim Philpot.
Quoting Jerry Herman in turn quoting Irving Berlin, "There's just no tune like a show tune!" The program will be infused with anecdotes on the life of Mr Herman alongside songs you know well - and may be introduced to anew.
