Just in time for the 2016 election, Act II Playhouse presents the world premiere of Electile Dysfunction. Created by and starring Artistic Director Tony Braithwaite, Will Dennis, and Tracie Higgins, this original comedy cabaret about the election is on stage in Ambler from Sept. 6-Oct. 9, 2016

"I wanted to do an election show because this year, especially, it is on everyone's minds. I knew there would be deep wells of comedy to draw from," Braithwaite said. "Audiences will get to laugh at both parties, as we will be equal-opportunity offenders."

This new show combines presidential impressions, man-on-the-street interviews, song parodies, and more in a bid for audiences' laughs.

"A spotlight on this show will be placed on the presidents of the past, and what they might think of the current situation, along with advice they might have," Braithwaite said. "Bill Clinton will be singing 'Give 'em the old Razzle Dazzle' to his spouse, for example."

Due to popular demand, a fifth week of performances has already been added to the calendar. A full schedule of performances is available online here.

Tickets for Electile Dysfunction are $29-$41. Discounts are available for subscribers, students, group of 10 or more, and seniors 65 and older. Tickets are available online at www.act2.org, by calling the Act II box office at (215) 654-0200, or in person at 56 E. Butler Ave. in Ambler.

Braithwaite directs the show. PFW Media provides video production and editing. Patrick Romano is a co-writer. Owen Robbins provides accompaniment on the piano. Other production credits include Adam Riggar (Set Designer), Constance Case (Costume Designer), Andy Shaw (Lighting Designer), John Stovicek (Sound Design), and Lauren Davenport (Properties).
