Last night, To Kill a Mockingbird welcomed Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear as he made his Broadway debut as “Atticus Finch.” Written by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin with direction by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, To Kill a Mockingbird also stars Baize Buzan as “Scout Finch.”

Just last night, To Kill a Mockingbird celebrated its return to Broadway at the Shubert Theatre, playing its first performance since the shutdown in March 2020. Watch a video featuring the new cast celebrating their return to Broadway.

The Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird, Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, will become the first-ever Broadway play to perform at The World's Most Famous Arena, New York's Madison Square Garden, in front of approximately 18,000 New York City public school students.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents this year's holiday show, A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL, based on the popular 1983 film. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL has a book by Joseph Robinette with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will be directed by Brandon Ivie and choreographed by Mara Newbery Greer. A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from tonight, November 25, 2015, through January 3, 2016. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents Abundance, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart). An epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West, Abundance will be directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production ofWilliam Inge's Natural Affection. Performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on February 17. Opening night is set for this Sunday, March 1, 2015. Real-life mother and son Tony and Emmy Award nominee Kate Burton (The Corn is Green, The Cherry Orchard, Hedda Gabler at the Huntington) and Morgan Ritchie (The Corn Is Green) play mother and son onstage together for the first time when they return to the Huntington Theatre Company for a lush new production of Anton Chekhov's passionate classic The Seagull. Huntington favorite Maria Aitken (The Cocktail Hour, Betrayal) will direct the Paul Schmidt translation of the classic of world drama about love, missed connections, and what it means to be an artist. Performances of The Seagull continue at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre through April 6, 2014 at the BU Theatre. John Ford's Oscar winning, The Quiet Man, is one of the best loved and most popular films of all time. Its musical adaptation, Donnybrook!, begins with the haunting love theme, Richard Farrelly's 'The Isle of Innisfree' and marches jauntily through the misty hills of the west of Ireland with a cast of characters headed by the indomitable Mary Kate Danaher (Jenny Powers), and her counterpart, American prizefighter Sean Enright (James Barbour) who, against his strong wishes, has not yet fought his last battle.
