The first webseries of its kind, DIARY OF A CHORUS GIRL documents the making of Broadway's CATCH ME IF YOU CAN from its first rehearsal to opening night through the eyes of a real-life chorus girl in her Broadway debut, Alex Ellis. From grueling dance rehearsals in 6-inch heels, to glamorous photo shoots, to balancing a personal life, Alex Ellis takes viewers on a theatrical journey showing what it really takes to make it on the Great White Way. The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. Kyra Sedgwick is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Leading Actress in a Drama for TNT's The Closer. In 2007 and 2010, Sedgwick won Best Actress for lead role for the show at the Golden Globes. Sedgwick has appeared on Broadway in Twelfth Night and Ah, Wilderness.

SAN DIEGO REPERTORY THEATRE in partnership with THE SAN DIEGO SCHOOL OF CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS (SCPA) is proud to present Southern California's first regional production of the hit musical comedy HAIRSPRAY. For the first time in local theatre history, high school students from SCPA will join professional actors on stage for this big fat, gorgeous musical. Directed by San Diego REP Artistic Director SAM WOODHOUSE with assistance from SCPA's Artistic Director RICHARD TRUJILLO, the REP's presentation of HAIRSPRAY will mark the first time the musical has been produced as a regional theatre production in Southern California. Performances continue through Sunday, August 15, 2010.

Each song is recorded by the Broadway stars who debuted them on the BROADWAY BARES stage.

The German cast of HAIRSPRAY appeared on the TV Show 'Wetten, Daas...?' on December 5, 2009 to celebrate the opening of the new production. The show is currently booked through 31 March 2010 at the Musical Dome in Cologne, Germany.

The producers of 'HAIRSPRAY' have announced that Phill Jupitus, Belinda Carlisle and Sharon D Clarke have all signed to join the cast of the hit musical, currently running at London's Shaftesbury Theatre. The new cast open on Monday 26 October, with Sunday performances beginning on Sunday 8 November.
