Sickness didn't stop the show however, and the company celebrated their opening on the originally planned March 12- last night! Roundabout Theatre Company presents the classic musical On the Twentieth Century, which will play a 20-week limited engagement through July 5, 2015, beginning previews on February 12, 2015 and opening officially on March 12, 2015 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Starring Tony & Emmy Award winner Chenoweth, Golden Globe & SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Gallagher, Tony nominee Andy Karl, Mark Linn-Baker, Tony winner Michael McGrath and Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson, On the Twentieth Century will be choreographed by Tony winner Warren Carlyle and directed by six-time Tony nomineeScott Ellis, and features music by Cy Coleman and book & lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. On the Twentieth Century is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur & Bruce Millholland. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University is presenting the world premiere of the musical Finding Neverland, with music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy, book by James Graham, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus with choreography by Mia Michaels. The production is currently playing Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street in Cambridge, MA and runs through Sunday, September 28. Tony nominated actress Jessie Mueller, currently starring in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It, appeared on NBC's 'Today' this morning, May 9th in the 10:00 a.m. hour as part of Kathie Lee and Hoda's 'Everyone Has a Story' segment. Mueller sang 'For You', co-written by Lee for 7-year-old AJ Kelm, who is battling a rare form of epilepsy, and his mother. Click below to watch! United Airlines' Taste of Broadway concert took place in lower Manhattan Thursday afternoon, August 23rd at at the World Financial Center Plaza (220 Vesey Street between North End Ave. and West St.) The free outdoor concert was hosted by 2012 Tony Award® winners Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath, who are currently performing in Nice Work If You Can Get It, and featured performances from the casts of: CHICAGO, MAMMA MIA!, NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, ROCK OF AGES, and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
