Just last week, The Skivvies returned to 54 Below, back by popular demand. The 'musically thrilling' undie-rock, comedy-pop duo don't just strip down their musical arrangements, they literally strip down to their underwear to perform their distinctive mashups and eccentric originals for cello and ukulele, with touches of glockenspiel, melodica, and a surprising array of under-used instruments. Today CEC is shining our spotlight on long-time writing partners Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk. Their song 'Last Week's Alcohol' was performed by Matt Doyle, talented star of stage and screen, at our concert at the Canal Room. We are thrilled to share it with all of you on Broadwayworld!

NEWSIES star Andrew Keenan-Bolger recently took the time to put together a music video for summer 2012, featuring some of his NEWSIES castmates and even some other Broadway veterans. Keenan-Bolger writes: 'I brought my camera along whenever I was hanging out with my friends this summer. I decided to compile the footage together in an unofficial video for my favorite song of the summer, '1904' by The Tallest Man On Earth.'

Last night, April 30, BROADWAY SINGS ADELE featured over 15 cover songs to celebrate the pop superstar's greatest hits, accompanied by a full band orchestrated, arranged, and music directed by Joshua Stephen Kartes. BroadwayWorld was on hand and brings you concert highlights below!

Dallas Theater Center presents Giant at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center through Feb. 19. Tony Award-nominated Michael Greif will direct this new musical by Sybille Pearson and Michael John LaChiusa. Aaron Lazar stars as Bick and Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow) plays Leslie. Lazarand Baldwin recently stopped by Dallas' GMT whwre they performed a song from the show. The National Theatre of Great Britain's production of WAR HORSE, presented by Lincoln Center Theater and the National Theatre of Great Britain in association with Bob Boyett opened last night at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street) and we were there! WAR HORSE is based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, adapted by Nick Stafford, with Handspring Puppet Company, and directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris.
