MTV today announced that the '2012 MTV Video Music Awards' will feature 90 seconds of exclusive footage from the final installment of Summit Entertainment's THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 during its LIVE telecast from STAPLES Center on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and the cast of the film will be on-hand to introduce the footage. Watch a promo for the television event below!

The band will host ONE DIRECTION: MY FIRST TIME, a half-hour special dedicated to reliving the most memorable VMA performances of all time on Thursday, August 30 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Get a sneak peek below!

On Sunday, July 8th at 7PM at Joe's Pub, an all-star line-up of Broadway veterans and some of the city's best new voices presented "The TRL Generation: Broadway Sings The 90's," a one-night only concert event to benefit 'Broadway Impact.' The concert was musically directed and produced by Benjamin Rauhala.

mtvU, MTV's 24-hour college network, today announced that comedian, political commentator and 'Real Time' host Bill Maher is the newest guest professor on the network's ongoing, Emmy-nominated STAND IN series. As mtvU followed, Maher travelled to the University of California Los Angeles campus to shock a class full of students during Professor Tom Schwartz's 'Introduction to American Politics' course.

On last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS Results Show, contestants Gavin DeGraw and Jaleel White had to face off in the first time ever 'Dance Duel'.
