Walnut Street Theatre opens its landmark 204th season with the American premiere of Erich Segal's LOVE STORY, the musical. With direction and musical staging by Annabel Bolton, this emotionally charged production is a delicate story of life and love and is currening runningns through October 21st on the WST Mainstage. On last night's AMERICAN IDOL results show, global superstar and AMERICAN IDOL judge, Jennifer Lopez, performed her hit new song 'Dance Again.'

Last night, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez were named the Top Three AMERICAN IDOL finalists. One of them will be crowned the next AMERICAN IDOL, but not before all three travel back to their hometowns, to see family, friends and fans.

First Night: The Honors Gala is set for Sunday, September 4, at the Troutt Theatre at Belmont University, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the Red Carpet Event, hosted by Jennifer Richmond and Trey Palmer, with fashion commentary by Cary Street, Joshua Waldrep and Lisa Garner Harrison. Impresario Johnny Delarocco (aka John Pyka) will produce a special Red Carpet performance by his company just for First Night.
